The PNA Nursing Excellence Award recognizes nursing excellence in the following 4 nursing practice areas:
Clinical Practice
Education
Administration
Rising Star
Please be sure to specify the area of nursing practice of the nominee.
Nurses receiving The PNA Excellence in Nursing Awards will be individually recognized at The Annual PNA Awards Dinner on May 13th, 2024 at Coppola’s Restaurant. Award Winners and nominators will be notified via phone and E-Mail. (Selected Nominators are asked to read their letter of recommendation at the awards dinner event.)
CHECKLIST AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR A COMPLETE APPLICATION
(All of the following items must be included for candidate to be considered.)

One letter of support (Only one (1) letter is considered, do not submit more than the requirement)
A brief narrative of 500 words or less clearly discussing how your nominee meets one or more of the following five (5) criteria:
1. Makes a significant impact on patient care.
2. Goes “beyond the call”
3. Demonstrates excellence
4. Shows commitment to the community
5. Exemplifies continued professionalism
